First Atlantic Bank Ltd

Formerly First Atlantic Merchant Bank Ltd. It was one of the pioneering merchant banks incorporated in Ghana in May 1994. The bank was founded by Amalgamated Investments Ltd and other initial promoters and shareholders; Allied Investment Ltd, SSNIT, FM Plastechnic Ltd, Coplan Ltd, Research Development and Financial Consultants Ltd, Structeng Ltd, Mr. John Amakye Jnr., Mr. George Victor Okoh and Mr. Jude Arthur. The bank started operations shortly after obtaining its banking license in August 1995 and became a key player in the financial services industry. The bank is currently known as First Atlantic Bank Ltd. Amalgamated Investments Ltd no longer holds shares or interests in the bank since 2012.

Fidelity Bank Ghana Ltd

Formerly Fidelity Discount House Ltd. This company begun business operations in October 1998. The company was originally promoted and established by Amalgamated Investments Ltd, Research Development and Financial Consultants Ltd, Oak Financial Services Ltd, Mr. Edward Effah and Netherlands Development Finance Company. With an excellent quality of service to its customers, the company was granted a universal banking license in June 2006 by the Bank of Ghana to operate as Fidelity Bank Ghana Ltd. Fidelity Bank Ghana has grown to become one of Ghana's leading financial institutions. Amalgamated Investments Ltd no longer holds shares and interest in the bank since July 2006.

Savanna Cement Company Ltd

Founded in February 1997, Savanna Cement Company Ltd was incorporated by Amalgamated Investments Ltd. In May 2007, Savanna Cement Company Ltd formed a joint venture partnership with Diamond Cement Company Ltd to undertake the project and business of mining limestone for the production of clinker and cement in the Central Gonja District of the Northern Region of Ghana. The joint venture company is currently known as Savanna Diamond Cement Company Ltd. This company’s cement factory has an installed production capacity of 440,000 tons of cement per annum. This plays a crucial role in Ghana’s infrastructure development by providing quality cement for construction projects across the nation. Savanna Diamond Cement Company Ltd is part of Diamond Cement Group Africa. Amalgamated Investments Ltd no longer holds shares and interest in Savanna Cement Company Ltd and Savanna Diamond Cement Company Ltd since April 2015.

Northern Diamond Communications Ltd

Incorporated in November 2008, Northern Diamond Communications Ltd was Amalgamated Investments Limited’s venture into the communications sector. The company setup an FM radio station (Union 98.1) in the Central Gonja District of the Northern Region of Ghana to provide quality broadcasting services and to foster community engagement in the region. Amalgamated Investments Ltd no longer holds shares and interest in Northern Diamond Communications Ltd since September 2016.

Founded in February 1995 by Amalgamated Investments Limited and Mr. Kenneth Bedwei Majdoub, Premier Dry Cleaners Ltd. offers top-tier dry cleaning, laundry, and specialized cleaning services for carpets and curtains in the Accra Metropolitan District of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. With state-of-the-art equipment and a commitment to customer satisfaction, Premier Dry Cleaners Ltd is a trusted name in Ghana’s cleaning service industry.

Sanu Resources Ghana Ltd

Sanu Resources Ghana Ltd. is a gold mining company that was setup in February 1997 as a joint venture partnership between Amalgamated Investments Limited and Sanu Resources INC. to prospect and mine for gold in the Nzema East Municipal District of the Western Region of Ghana. Sanu Resources Ghana Ltd has since prospected and explored for gold with a commitment to responsible sustainable mining practices under the regulatory guidance of the Minerals Commission and the Environmental Protection Agency of Ghana. The company was finally granted a full-fledged mining lease and license for a total concession of 28 sq. km in March 2016. Sanu Resources Ghana Ltd is currently owned and run by Nguvu Mining Ltd.

Norsalt Company Ltd

Incorporated in June 2004 by Amalgamated Investments Ltd and Mr. Emmanuel D. Narnor, Norsalt Company Ltd. was setup to undertake an industrial salt mining project that uses energy from the sun and other favourable environmental factors in the Ningo-Prampram District of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana to produce industrial-grade salt and gypsum. The project is to become a commercially viable, scalable and sustainable business that is strategically positioned to support the cement industry in Ghana by providing locally sourced gypsum, an essential raw material in cement production. The company’s goal is to also add to the overall salt production capacity of Ghana which is currently around 330,000 MT. The project is yet to be operational.
